Afternoon tea at St. Ermins

Here is a massive recommendation post for the champagne tea I had at the St. Ermins hotel (London).
The tea and unlimited champagne:
Myself and Sam both opted for the caffeine fix and went for an earl grey - these little tea times were so cute.
The presentation:
I love the doll house style afternoon tea carriers - how cute!
The sandwich selection:
Salmon, caviar and cream cheese
Cream cheese and cucumber
Beef and horseradish
With a black pudding and sausage roll
Now onto the sweets:
This was a tropical fruit posset - a bit too sour for my liking but a real palette cleanser.
These were one of my favourites on the board - marshmallow, coconut and raspberry sandwiched together with dark chocolate.
A half macaroon - again with raspberry and chocolate (I love macaroons!)
The fluffiest lightest cake ever - lemon cake sprinkled with sugared rose petals.
To top off our very full tummies we were given three types of scones, plain, raisin and sea salt. All topped off with jam and clotted cream - naturally!
Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things to do. I think this is a definite must for any occasion.
Excellent company, excellent champagne and excellent cake - what more can go wrong?!
