The Oscars - the most star studded, glamorous event of the year.

I have chosen my top 4 favourite dresses (although Reese Witherspoon wins in her dress in my eyes!)

Jennifer Aniston in Versace:

This beauty has done it again - this dress is so simple and elegant. Whenever I see a photo of her I  just think 'I'm 20 and I don't look like you *sob sob*! The thing that sold this outfit to me is the shoes - gold and metallics are bang on trend for SS15 as well as the barely there sandal.

Jennifer Lopez in Ellie Saab:

Well this had to be in the top 4 because this dress is a show stopper! There isn't much to it but the detail is simply beautiful - a true princess dress.

Rosamund Pike in Givenchy:

Red dresses make the oscars and there is always someone in one. Similar to Jennifer Lopez' the floral detailing makes it. The front slit modernises the dress. If It was me I wouldn't have styled red shoes with this dress - Jennifer Aniston's shoes would have matched beautifully.

Reese Witherspoon in Tom Ford:

This is my favourite!! The dress is so flattering on her body - asentuating her waist as well as the off the shoulder look creating a sexy, feminine fit. Teamed with a simple silver watch. Wow wow wow!
