Monday 22nd September

It's one hell of a busy National Days day today and I'm back on track!

It is 'Dear Diary Day' today, this is something I regret not doing as a child and teen. If I could go back I would have definitely kept a diary and stuck to keeping one because every new year that would be my resolution and within a few days it was broken. I regret it because in my old age (HA!) I can't remember half the things that seemed important back then. It's also funny to read back from time to time. I guess blogging is a form of diary now but if I'm honest I think a paper diary has more sentimental value and are just generally nicer.

IT IS 'BUSINESS WOMAN'S DAY' PEOPLE. WOOP WOOP POWER TO THE WOMEN! Need I say more!?

'Family Day' is today, so just appreciate the family you have around you, yes they're annoying, yes you want to throttle them but be kind to each other even if it's from time to time because there is always someone less fortunate than you when it comes to family, trust me! (sorry for the 'Praise the Lord preach!)

This day just gets better, it's 'Elephant Appreciation Day'. Back in 2011 I was lucky enough to go to Tanzania, I worked in an orphanage and school and also got to go on safari (cutting it short!). I just wanted to share the photos I managed to capture of the elephants and how amazing they are.

Finally, we're getting to the tasty bit of today...It's 'Ice Cream Cone Day' and 'White Chocolate Day'. So how about grabbing yourself a white chocolate ice cream to finish your Monday off nicely!
